Customer had a deadline to migrate from Peoplesoft to Oracle HCM. To test the migration, there was a requirement to create 500 new “positions for hire” with different combinations of data that could be loaded up in Oracle HCM and used for testing. Creating a new position involved performing about 60 steps end to end using a homegrown application called Position Creation Request. Completing this manually takes about 15 minutes of manual efforts. In order to create 500 positions, it would have taken about 125 man-hours. The customer had to finish this task in 24 man-hours owing to the deadline.
Leveraging AutonomIQ’s Enterprise Automation Platform, the Customer was able to create an English work-flow in 2 hours to create a position that was run in a loop for 500 times to generate the required data to test the migration. The entire data set was generated in about 10 hours using Autonomiq’s Enterprise Automation Platform. Moreover, the on-premise solution allowed the Customer to consume the Platform in their environment, providing them with a secure sandbox to generate the data.
